This forum was launched on 20th june 2007 and has already over 200 members and still growing fast, its a support network for many where we all come and chat when our loved ones are away on tours, exercise or even at home. Many members still stay with us when there loved ones are home as they have made so many friends.

Me and the Moderator Gem decided to make a forum after we met on the ebluey site when both our partners were serving in Iraq last year i found her hotmail address and added her, we hit it off from there and as we both struggled to keep up with the message board the ArmyWivesUk forum was born!

We wanted somewhere for EVERYONE to come and chat and meet others that were in the same or similar situations. We spent many late nights and bottles of wine to make this forum as useful and supporting as can be!! Im sure all our members and yourself will agree!!

We all went through our ups and downs but with the help of all the members on the site we managed to get through even some of the toughest times, I for one have made some brilliant friends and they will be kept for life......YOU can too so feel free to join the main forum, make some friends and have a laugh with us all!!
